2 Invisible Killer

The Influence of UV Rays

The UV rays in the sunlight has three types: UVA, UVB, and UVC. More than 95% are UVA. UVA has strong penetrating power and is extremely harmful to the skin. If exposed in UVA for a long time, dark spots and skin aging is easy to appear; even carcinogenic in severe cases. Recent researches have shown that long time UV-exposure can cause sunburn and lesions in the eye.

The Influence of IR Rays

The solar radiant heat is the biggest cause of environmental energy consumption, resulting in increased electricity consumption in indoor air conditioners.
The heat radiation caused by IR rays penetrates the skin to the subcutaneous tissue far more than UV rays, making the skin temperature to rise, telangiectasia, congestion, and the evaporation of the epidermis. Therefore, it has an adverse effect characterized by red papules, premature skin aging and pigmentation disorders directly on the skin.

As clear as Clear Glass

We help protect you from the majority of UV damage and radiant heat, while still preserving your stunning view.

Global Patented “UVIR Shielding Film”

Global Patented “UVIR Shielding Film”

The ceramic heat-insulating material is made into a nano-transparent layer. With a laminated structure, this heat-insulating glass provides both high-efficiency heat insulation and explosion-proof safety, effectively blocking UV rays (≥99.9%), preventing sunburn, and protecting furniture, antiques, and paintings. Unlike traditional Low-E glass, which applies metal oxides to the surface, Uplus Energy-saving glass is more environmentally friendly without the drawbacks of metal oxidation.

Nearly to the nature color of glass

With low reflectivity and minimal color difference, the glass maintains high transparency in the visible light spectrum (wavelength 380nm–780nm), providing excellent natural lighting and reducing the need for indoor lighting. At the same time, it retains high-performance heat insulation for infrared rays (wavelength 780nm–2500nm), effectively saving on air conditioning costs. It can be used selectively to lower expenses.

Strong wind pressure resistance and sound insulation

The laminated glass structure provides excellent wind pressure resistance and sound insulation. It is not easily penetrated by external impacts, and even if it breaks or undergoes spontaneous explosion, the glass fragments are unlikely to cause injury. The soundproofing effect increases the performance of sound transmission loss (≥35dB).

Competitive Advantage of Uplus

Uplus Energy-saving glass, unlike traditional Low-E glass, no metal, greatly enhancing heat insulation performance and durability while reducing light pollution and environmental damage caused by metal oxides.
